It’s a service for individuals, couples and families who are experiencing a particularly difficult time due to problems of psychological or educational nature, or in their relationship. In order to promote the health of the family, the Centro Familiare creates preventive, educational and informative initiatives.

The assistance and the activities offered by the Centro Familiare are addressed to Italians living in the cantons of Berne and Solothurn.

Information, expert advice for problems of a psychological, pedagogical, medical nature and of moral and legal matters. It also promotes meetings and counseling for engaged couples, young people, married couples and organizes informational evenings for everyone on different issues.

All activities are promoted and animated by a team consisting of a physician, a psychologist, a teacher, a counselor, a family counselor, a married couple, a secretary.

Normal services are free of charge, while for individual therapy or couple therapy who require long lead times, clients are asked for a small contribution.

The Family Centre is equipped with a library and audiovisual aids that are available to upon request.

Members of the Family Association Center (ACFE) can be all citizens residing in the territory of operation of the Family Centre who are congruent with the nature and purpose of the institution and who do submit an application to the Committee.
